House for Art – a project of Przemek Matecki and Paweł Althamer
House for Art, a joint project of Przemek Matecki and Paweł Althamer, has been realized in a private garden in Basel. The small wooden house, erected on a tall tree trunk, contains in its interior an exhibition of small paintings by Przemek Matecki. The show is observed by small ceramic figures of the curators and founders of the Foksal Gallery Foundation. One of them, Adam Szymczyk, was the curator of this special garden sculpture. The two artists are continuing their cooperation, one effect of which is to be a new series of paintings by Matecki.
