A mask which, once put on, makes its owner thoughtless, insensitive and stupid, which puts all grave matters aside and allows for an escape from one’s beliefs, expectations or ideas. It is used to act without a plan, to rush headlong, without scruples or fear. Idiot’s Mask is worn in moments of tiredness or resignation, to drown out regret or a sense of failure, in situations which yield no solution or answer.
