Death without Death, Youth without Youth, Age without Age invokes the Sufi spirit of complexity–trying to bring together two ends of the spectrum considered mutually exclusive into one space, one voice, one register–often elaborated upon in the notion of fana’-i-akbar, extinction of the self, or annihilation of the ego.
