
Olaf Brzeski (born in 1975 in Wroclaw, Poland) graduated from the Faculty of Sculpture at the Wroclaw Academy of Art and Design (MA, 2000). He lives and works in Wroclaw. His works are replete with the unexpected, the uncanny, unnatural or oversized; always exploring the potential of illusion.
Karolina Jabłońska (born in 1991 in Dąbrowa Tarnowska, Poland) studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in Kraków (MA, 2010–15) and Vysoká škola uměleckoprůmyslová in Prague (2014–15). She lives and works in Kraków, Poland. Her powerful canvases are focused on the issues of gender, exploitation and sexual violence. The presentation at LISTE is Jabłońska’s very first international exposure since graduating from Fine Arts Academy.
Mika Tajima (born in 1975 in Los Angeles, United States) graduated from Columbia University, New York (MFA, 2003) and from Bryn Mawr College (BA, 1997). She lives and works in New York. Her series of richly hued abstract woven paintings based on digital audio recordings will be exhibited at her solo show at Raster this autumn.
