Dwurnik’s records at the auction
Record high prices of Edward Dwurnik's works at the last auction at Desa Unicum. Over 4-meter painting from the series Long Live the War! was sold for PLN 224,000.
The second best result was achieved by the painting from the Blue series, in which the artist abandoned the characteristic thin line and depicted the sea waves in an expressive way. The price of PLN 189,000 is the highest ever paid for a work from this cycle. Works on paper also achieved very good results. Beautiful Master in a Beautiful City from the series Spring from 1978 was sold for PLN 20,000.
