Dominika Olszowy, Przemek Matecki and Zbignew Rogalski are taking part in two exhibitions placing the work of the legendary Zakopane-based artist Władysław Hasior (1928–1999) in a contemporary context. You will have a monument, but it will never sing is on view through 29 August at the City Art Centre (Mosart) in Gorzów Wielkopolski, while Self-Portrait with Melancholy: Hasior and New Art runs until 10 October at the Władysław Hasior Gallery in Zakopane.
Olszowy and Rogalski executed new film works for the occasion, while Matecki is showing a special series of Small Paintings dedicated to Hasior.
