Nicolas Grospierre
Helioderm
Nicolas Grospierre is a renowned artist and photographer, an explorer of brutalist architecture, and a creator of illusionistic photographic objects. A few years ago, he discovered the charms of heliography—images created using sunlight. The abstract compositions he produces on fabrics have been exhibited, among other places, at the Palace on the Isle in Warsaw’s Łazienki Royal Park. Helioderm is an intriguing attempt to transfer this same method onto the surface of human skin.
