Another exhibition of works from a large private collection is underway at the Centre of Contemporary Art in Toruń. It is a selection of works not previously shown widely from the collection of the lawyers and second-generation collectors Katarzyna Szafrańska and Wojciech Szafrański. Don’t Ask About Poland, curated by Marta Smolińska, is a multilayered narrative of Polish history and identities, abounding in interesting juxtapositions of artworks from the interwar period to the modern day. It includes numerous works by artists affiliated with Raster, such as Aneta Grzeszykowska, Karolina Jabłońska, Zbigniew Libera, Marcin Maciejowski, Przemysław Matecki, Wilhelm Sasnal, Janek Simon, and Slavs and Tatars. The exhibition runs through 25 May.
