And the Cybis goes to…
Rafał Bujnowski was named the laureate of the Jan Cybis award for 2018, given by the Warsaw chapter of the Association of Polish Artists and Designers (ZPAP). Bujnowski is the first winner of the award born in the 1970s. We are thrilled, and congratulate the artist for joining the classic artists of the genre!
This best-known Polish painting prize celebrated its 45th anniversary last year with a major exhibition at Zachęta in Warsaw. A show by this year’s laureate will be held this autumn at the ZPAP Gallery on ul. Mazowiecka, Warsaw.
