Roman Biennale
Zbigniew Libera realized a moving, monumental installation at the Arte in Memoria biennale, held for over a decade in the ruins of Ostia Antica in Rome. The installation—a section of railroad tracks dozens of yards long (pictured above)—bears the title Where Do They Go? and is located near the remains of the oldest synagogue in Europe.
