The exhibition by Olaf Brzeski at Galeria Entropia, part of the “The Situation is Perfect” series, is based on the visual exploration of fears tamed by the artist through “compulsive” drawing. This process results in the creation of a video. In his exhibition, the artist con­structs a multi-​layered nar­rative that tells a story referen­cing past events, “demons” from the past, as well as cur­rent obses­sions and anxieties.

In the Tibetan prac­tice of CHÖ, this involves giving form to our fears in areas of our psyche that have remained in an undiscovered realm of shadows. The focus on the drawing layer, which shapes the film, adds an extra dimen­sion to its recep­tion. The story is “drawn” in real time, generating additional ten­sion in an unconven­tional visual narrative
