According to the Budget Act, the “government budget is an annual plan of revenues and expenditures as well as incomes and outlays of the organs of state authority, law enforcement, courts and tribunals, and government administration, adopted for a single calendar year. The budget is a legal-political act. It reflects the premises and objectives of the state’s socioeconomic policy in the given period, and serves as the key means of their realization. It mirrors dominant political views on economic interventionism, the alleviation of income disparity, and the fulfillment of social needs. These are expressed in the structure of taxation and public spending, and above all in the level of budget redistribution”. Janek Simon aims at a visual interpretation of this data.
