1993, oil on canvas, 146 × 114 cm
The Long Live the War! series has been painted since 1991. On canvases, Dwurnik shows heads in military helmets and caps set against a blue background. As the artist himself points out, "these paintings speak of a struggle. They are meant to be an encouragement, an acceptance of liberation wars waged by small states. I believe that the more such wars break out, the better the effect will be for the world."
