The Raster is 20 years old
On 24 April 2001, the Raster was founded in the inner yard of a tenement at 60 Marszalkowska St. in Warsaw. Apart from the founders – Joanna Kaimer, Michał Kaczyński and Łukasz Gorczyca – the following artists performed in the April rain: Mały Szu, Tom Dale, Monika Sosnowska and Mariusz Maciejewski. And then so much happened in Warsaw, in other Raster locations and around the world that it is hard to believe that only twenty years have passed since.
